Remove the G2 wire from circuit and measure the screen voltage with a digital multimeter- it should have a constant voltage (will not vary). If the voltage is not stable suspect the fly back. Sometimes a defective crt socket might cause this type of problem also!

Check the windscreen wipers all work – do they clear the screen effectively over the entire wiper area? Look at the wiper blades themselves – do they feel hard and brittle, or are there bits missing? 8000K produces a slightly blue tint. Ironically, even though the number is higher these lights are slightly less bright than the 6000K lights above! That being said, they do produce a more intense blue color that makes them more noticeable.
